Car Chip Paint Protection systems.....?

Afternoon fellow PH'ers!
Just wondered if anyone had any advice or info on chip protection systems for cars, I've just bought a new car and have a regular 80-100mile a day commute to do and can pick up the odd chip here and there.
I've googled and seen there are a few (Ventureshield/3M/PaintShield to name a few)and wondered if anyone has used any of them and has a preference or what they think about them!
