We have a recurring problem with our oil CH/water which the service people can't sort.

The pump in the airing cupboard starts up of its own accord even though no water/Ch is on. The boiler in the garage, a Trianco, locks out and the orange light comes on. Pressing the button to reset it sometimes starts the boiler going and it runs indefinitely even though everything is switched off, sometimes it doesn't fire up after being reset but the pump in the cupboard continues to run.

The system was serviced a few days ago and they have been back since in a second attempt to cure it. It started doing this prior to the service.

Any thoughts please?

Maybe post it in the home, garden and diy forum? Alternitavely if it is a combi could be a water pressure problem.
