I’ve had my car on eBay for 5 days tomorrow completing at 1pm. Also been on PH’s for a while with little interest.

Got 9 watches, do you think anyone is going to bid at such a late stage? It’s well priced IMO

Or am I doomed a zero sale and dealer gets it?

Although I have no experience in ebay private sales I would have expected genuine potential buyers would have contacted you to arrange a viewing at least before putting a bid in? I personally wouldn't take a 10k punt on a car I had not seen?

Nice ad though, straight to the point with no "Soundz MINT wen bouncing ov limiter with zaust popin, innit", way too many private ads that make me wince.

It's too high a price for an opening bid.

Doesn't feel like an auction bargain, more of a "classified ad" price.

What do you hope to sell for? If it's 10k, reduce the opening bid to 6 or 7 and put a reserve on it, or start lower and let it find it's market value at the auction.

I found that when I sold my first S2000 on ebay as soon as it finished with no bids, I got a few emails from people asking to come and see it after the auction.

I sold it that way!

Nah little interest mostly timewasters. Dealer has offered me £10k hence starting price, plus tax cash in, so wanted to be in the money before I listed it.

The above doesn't take into consideration options, no. owners etc, I'd try for £500 on the dealers offer?

Dealer originally offered £9750 despite it being mint 'Evans Halshaw' guy called me back a day later and then offered £10k
