280i nightmare over

Thanks to all who helped.. Changed the leads, air filter,didnt have time to fit plugs last night but a friend of a friend popped round who just so happens to be the guy that services a celeb brothers collection of classics.. When he turned up straight away he said i love these, Easy to work on, joy to drive, he even offered to work on it for nothing, Anyway he got me to start it, He pulled plug leads off one by one and said its one of two things.. Failing plug or burnt valve.. Changed the plugs this morning,Was gonna pressure test cylinders but on starting it up it started singing.. Gold.. always believe in your soul..you got the power to know..your... You know the rest.. I Cant wipe the grin off me face,, Cant wait to drive it.... Cheers chaps will keep you infoed up..
