200SX help please

Hi guys,

I'm going to look at a '99 S14 200sx touring auto tomorrow and am hoping it's in good enough shape to buy.

Does anyone have experience of these? Is there anything in particular to look out for?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Look out for white smoke on the overrun, if the car has been modified at all take a very careful look at the owner

The engine/box combo isn't the best to be honest and they are much more suited to a manual box and a boost tweak, they are a bit soft as standard.

I never had any issues with mine, I had an S13 and a S14a, great cars

Some type of history of oil and filter changes are very important on these as the spray bars block easily. Look for rust around the rear arches too, they were not undersealed very well.
