Used a 2007 Mini Cooper S turbo this evening to come home in, all I can say is what a cracking drive, great fun all round, handles fantastically, sounds good and the performance is very strong at all times, even the MPG is half decent which I was surprised about!

Got a bit of a shock as to how good it was, the fact the seats hurt my back like ive not experienced since I drove a Fiat and it was nearly impossible to press the ridiculously small radio pre-set buttons because the ride is too bouncy can be forgiven for the amount of fun it gave!

hi james.

its sneakygloworms missus, mini's are totaly fun.nuts
As you know i got a 55 plate cooper s, i test drove an 07 plate for fun, i liked it but was to expensive!
I understand what you mean about the seats, they hurt my back too, and thats on a short journey.
Still love it though.

Once i have saved some more money, think my next mini will be a jcw with recaro seats & maybe a hot pink wrap with some carbon fibre.cloud9cool

I am not sure if they have the name on them, but are completely different to standard mini seats.the recaros have that bit that pulls out and standard one's dont do that.

yikes whats wrong with pink !!!!! rofl

They're fantastic fun! Took my 2009 Cooper S to Bakewell today and had so much fun on the roads! I'm sure mine is getting faster everyday!
Swapping it for a JCW before the 20% VAT though!
