Thought I'd have a moan frown
Oop north we got a hosepipe ban about 2 weeks ago - it has absolutely poured down - seemingly non-stop - ever since. Everything in the garden is waterlogged, flowers flattened by the deluge, run-off and broken branches all over the drive. I am sooo pissed off, it makes me realise just how depressing stty weather is, especially after months of sun.

To cap it all I got up this morning and it was lovely and sunny. Stupid me decides to go by motorbike over the pennines to Leeds. Of course it has absolutely st down with rain all the way from Saddleworth, I'm sat at my desk soaked to the skin and sick of this frown And of course my bike is now filthy.

Not a rant - just thought I'd share the misery.

so it's the weather's fault rather than yours for not looking at a forecast?

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. We can obviously afford better weather here in the affluent South...

I would rather have that than 38+C and massive humidity...

Lovely morning as usual on the south coast, no hosepipe ban yet. Was uncomfortably bright this morning waking up, I had to close the blinds a touch.

Mind you the seaweed has been a bit smelly recently.

I agree, yesterday the office car park was flooded & surrounding grounds are water logged. If it wasn’t for the fact the trees are full of leaves you’d think it was the middle of winter.
Even had to put a coat on this Monday morning! The weather is grim in South Manchester at the moment.

Who'd have thought it, British weather being changeable!

What is disappointing is that we haven't got the infrastructure to catch enough of the rain water we receive so that we don't need hosepipe bans. Oh of course, that would require investment by and co-ordination between privatised water companies...
