Cayenne Bonnet Won't Close

As the title really.

The bonnet will latch on the release catch but not shut fully.

Have had a look and the catch bar seems to be coming down square on the keep and I cannot see a way short of some washers behind the bonnet part to lower the mechanism further.

The other option is trying to adjust the keep, but that would seem to entail taking the front bumper off?

Car has had no work done on it recently and it popped up driving to work yesterday and refuses to lock down. (Although it has had work done in this area as I have found half the trim clips missing)

Any ideas of a reasonably easy fix that doesn't include dropping the front bumper off?

It not that the handle within the compartment hasn't retracted fully and the latch is not taking up the slack in the cable?

Nope tried that.

The cable is running freely and the latch snaps shut on a screwdriver.

Hi did you manage to get the catch sorted? If so what was the issue as I have the exact same issue
