My new twin turbo box I notice has a female connector (I think two pin)at its apex (rear of the box), and I wondered if any one knew exactly what it was for?

Hopefully someone will tell me it is for a speedo output? If so, is the signal suitable and can use this for the LS7 ECU loom speedo feed?

cheers

Could it be for the reverse light actuator?

My g50 03 also has one at rear top right. I also would like to know what it is. Looks more like temp sensor to me

Keith, you need to fit that toothed wheel which you should have(!?)to the inner CV joint with the pickup for the speedo sensor to the ECU (and on to the dash if req(

does this help - could be presure switch for box coolant or reverse switch, reverse shift fork is labled as part number 9 and is in then back end of the box in the first file.
i doubt its a speed sensor, as the newer porshe probably takes its speed measurements from the ABS/traction control system that would be measureing the individual speed of every wheel.

Quite a pertinent question for new builders.
Reverse light is now a mandatory requirement for IVA.
