Mk 1 Mazda MX5's had a Momo steering wheel which have exactly the same fittings and are pretty close in looks to an original wedge wheel (although slightly bigger in diameter). I've got one on mine, they're easier/cheaper to find than TVR ones.

To answer your original question, yes, I do believe that other TVR wheels are the same fitting if that's the way you want to go.

There are subtle differences between the fixing holes on 'Personal' steering wheels fitted to many TVR's and the likes of MOMO , sparco etc which are the more common 6 bolt fitment reffered to as 'M' or 'modern fit'.

My old 350 has a 'personal' wheel fitted. I wanted to fit a momo wheel with a sparco quick release attachment, but found that the six bolt fixing is not only rotated through 90 degrees but that the spacings are different as well.

The personal wheel / hub, has two of the six bolts at the 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock positions, and centre spacings of 74mm between opposite bolts / 37mm between adjacent bolts.

The momo and sparco six bolt fixing has two of the six bolts at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock, with spacings of 70mm between opposite bolts / 35mm between adjacent bolts.

Hope that is helpful.

If you are looking for a wheel with a boss, then I think I am right in saying that the last wedges had the ford spline, which is the same as the later cars, where as the earlier wedges have the 3/4 inch triumph spline.
