What Should Be My Penance?

It's happened two or three times now; the vast lumbering bulk of a BMW X6 has ploughed past me on the motorway, and I've thought "actually i rather like that"

I've decided they appeal to the belligerent, couldn't-give-a-fk-what-you-think part of my brain.

There. I've said it. I like the BMW X6. No intention of buying one, but i'm glad they exist, which I honestly can't say about all that many vehicles these days.

Please select the punishment you feel most appropriate.

I agree OP, the X6 is a fantastically pointless obscenity...it's like the BMW engineers designed a car specifically to embody the BMW driver stereotype.

I hate them and absolutely love them at the same time

Buy one and park it beside a H2, both displaying window stickers saying that a puppy dies every 8 miles (to the gallon)

Oh and for good measure always use 2 parking spaces

Wiki article probably mentions it but;

The guy who invented it, was the first to be put in it.

It's probably one of the worse ways to go.


There were horns in the mouth of the thing, and as the person inside screamed as he/ she is burnt alive the horns would chanel the sound and it would sound like the 'bull' was mooing (I can't think of a more appropriate word at the moment).

ETA: Not nice, but MORE than appropriate for the OP's crime

Buy one, a white diesel one with a really st sounding engine and drug-dealer "privacy" glass, become the object of widespread hate and ridicule, be forced to humiliate yourself by taking it off road and getting stuck on a mild bit of wet grass and suffer the mpg and repair bills.

I took his and Garlick's comments to mean the brazen bull..
It didn't occur to me that people could like the beemer.
