Just wondering if theres a way I can clamp a brake hose without having a proper hose clamp, and without damaging the hose?

Or am I just going to have to buy one?

Thanks in advance smile

Brakes are pretty important. I'm sure there is something you can improvise, but you sure you want to risk damaging the pipe? Not stopping is not a good thing.

Mole grips....but dont set them too tight or you can damage the rubber, just enough to stop the flow as there is no pressure.

+1. Two smooth rods in mole grips. You can use the shafts of two screwdrivers if you cant find anything else. This removes the "bityness" of the mole-grips

Better solution is to either screw a bolt into the thread when you've taken the hose off (if it's a female threaded end) or if it's another typre put a rubber glove finger around the end and jubilee clip or rubber band it on.
