Wet seat this morning :(
Discussion
For the first time after a rainy night, I woke to find my drivers seat rather wet.
I want to get this sorted quickly.
Do you think replacing the rubber that sits on top of the window might help? or could there be another cause?
the roof itself is in very good condition and there are no obvious leaks in it.
Any ideas?

Is it for the MX-5 in your profile? If so mine also leaks, a combination of an old roof which has shrunk, only cure is a new roof which will be going on soon, and the rubbers above the winow which have become compressed - this can be solved by removing them and sliding some thin strips of rubber into the central channel which plumps them out a bit giving a better seal, there's a thread on some forum somewhere explaining how to do this, i'll see if i can find it!
first, pull off the rubber strips and loosen the ali bit that holds them, and move them as far to the outside as you can so they push against the glass more.
if that doesn't sort it, try stuffing them with some *soft* foam to make them a bit harder.
if that doesn't work you need a new roof
