HELP!!!

Just went to start the motor up. Disabled immobiliser, fuel pump ticked over as per usual before I went to turn her over and then....nothing. Lights went dead, car wont even try and turn over and a strange whirring noise started coming from the front of the car. Then...the alarm starts going off!! So now the car is sat in the garage, unable to turn over with the alarm blazing.

Any help and suggestions would be welcome!!!

Just gone back out to the car, the alarm had stopped. Tried pressing the immobiliser/alarm on the key fob and there is a faint clicking from within the rear of the car every time I press the button on the fob. No central locking clunk and indicator lights as per the norm but just a faint clicking every time I press the fob. After 5 or so attempts the alarm has started again...

i had similar bizarre happenings on mine recently which the RAC couldnt fathom - although mine was ticking over and Dave at Jetsream helped me though loads of checks. Now the problem seems to have disappeared. Not a lot of help to you, but might make you feel a bit better ! Good luck.

Well it happened to me a few months ago on the way back from track n road. Had to pull up in a traffic jam (at 1:30am!!) and the car just cut out. Luckily a lorry driver took pitty on me (that was after a delightful soul had casually driven around me whilst offering the w8nker sign out of his window) and helped push the car onto the hard shoulder. My phone battery had died from all the video footage I was taking of the car on the dyno and so I ended up wandering through the traffic jam pleading for some jump leads, sadly to no avail. By that point I was resigned to a long cold night in the Noble on the side of the A13. About an hour later I turned the key and miraculously the car fired up again as if nothing had happened. Needless to say it was a tense drive back.

Just been back to the car and tried turning the headlights on. As i turn them on, the alarm cuts out, Turn them off it comes back on...? F**king Nobles. I love it. But i hate it. Grrrrrrrr....

Anyhoo, I've taken the main fuses out of the passenger footwell and I'll give it another bash tonight.
