Anyone here into it? Been reading about it on Wikipedia at lunchtime and it's fascinating!

It's all interesting stuff, I used to notice it occasionally happening to me during dreams and spent some time reading about techniques and trying them out.

The only fall off I had from it all is I now seem to dream less than I used to.

I have lucid dreams quite often. It's pretty cool suddenly realising you're dreaming and you can do whatever you want. whistle

It seems that there's a process towards mastering it, from what I've seen on Wikipedia, that just seems like the coolest thing ever to me.

Mind you, I think Star Trek Holodecks are awesome as well.

What IS the Matrix!?

ETA: reading the wiki article as well now. I can definately remember times when I've been dreaming, and I realise that I'm in a dream, but that moment of realisation always causes the me to wake up....which is quite annoying as it's usually at a good part biggrin

I'll have to find the youtube of that laugh The mind can play nasty tricks though during lucid dreams, I guess it might be similar to hypnosis in a way as both require a strange semi-sleep?

ive had few lucid dreams and havent enjoyed the level of dream manipulation that I'd have liked smile I also wake up very soon after realising I'm dreaming.

I have them from time to time, but have no idea how - I don't purposely instigate them in any way.

Mine normally involve being in some near death experience in my dream, at which point I realise I am dreaming, and then, providing I don't wake up, I am able to do whatever the frigg I like - flying like superman is one of my personal faves smile
