You've found your sences and replacing it with a Griff body or maybe you're donating the chassis to Top Gear so Clarkson can make another ally bodied special.
PS Like the garagelick

On a serious note what is this about a super chimp? What have you done to it?

Ha ha, this one has made me smile, replace the body with a Griff one and as for the Golf Clubs......

How anyone chose a Chim over a Griff , they are just so damm ugly from every angle.
Should have kept the 5 Litre for the Griff only .

No cranes for me.
I actually gave myself a double hernia lifting the chassis onto the roof of my Peugeot to go get new outriggers.

I used a couple of winches in the rather small garage

Getting there slowly...

Well here we go

5.4 low compression,steel crank,forged ceramic coated pistons,h beam rods,yellaterra rockers,V8D built with robs own cam design,sc supercharger, quaife gearbox,quaife diff,uprated drive shafts,motec m800 ecu

No idea how much torque or horsepower it's going to make but it's going to be fun

So you have gone all out then! laugh

Surley you must be looking 500 - 600BHP with that setup. I assume you have kept the T5 gearbox but had it rebuilt with quaife internals? I am assuming you also went for cross bolted with top hat liners?

Sounds like a great build!

So you have done it all properly then! With the diff have you changed to a higher ratio thus increasing the top speed or are you running standard ratios?

Also purely out of interest why have you gone for 5.4 litres? I don't understand the subject myself but I was always lead to believe that 5.1 was optimum for Supercharging on the RV8?

I take it you getting a feature in Sprint when it is completed? It will definatley make for a very interesting article.

I will keep an eye out in the 'C' word forum for any updates.

The 5.4 was a going to be a na car but then the superchargers arrived ! normal diff ratios as top speed not important, cannot wait for the mapping in hopefully 4weeks !
I have also fitted the race logic traction control !!!!

Probably not a bad shout with the race logic system, I suspect you will need it with all that power. biggrin

Good luck with the mapping
