Hey guys, thanks to Paul Venners and the guys at Quartermilehigh.com, I was able to get some In car camera footage of the guardwall swiping run at the Summer Nationals.

It's not really apparent, but you can certainly see when it gets out of shape by the steering input I put in.

Anyway, here is the link. Hope you enjoy smile

Yep, can't really tell you hit the guardrail from the video, particularly without sound (gotta love my work computer). But one thing struck me -- aren't your wrist restraints too long? In the event of a major accident, they don't look like they'd do a great job of keeping your arms within the safety cell.

They are long enough for me to get to the parachutes and thats about it. Because of the camera angle the restraints look longer than they are it's just a illusion. If they were any shorter I couldn't reach the parachute levers. smile

Good camera, seems to suffer no distortion from BIG magnetos.
Always interesting to see what the drivers have to do in the few seconds between GO and STOP.
Pulling levers, pedaling, steering (sort of), pushing levers, etc etc.
Must be an absolute adrenaline rush.
