6th Gear - Longcross
Discussion
So Mrs M kindly bought me a Supercar experience at Longcross.
From what I can see (on various bits of Youtube footage) there is no run-off area which may explain why the cars seem to be driven rather sedately.
I know it is not a racing circuit and this will be nothing like (e.g.) Palmersport which I have done a few times, but is it really as tame as it looks?
I have chosen a 997 Turbo and a Gallardo, both of which (as far as I can see) should be able to get to 120'ish or more on the straights at Longcross, but I have only seen people so far getting up to 80/90 mph. Are they inexperienced drivers with whom the instructors are being careful, or do they operate a very 'nanny' driving experience?
