ive recently bought myself a e46 m3 in steel grey.but due to work ive not been able to give it the full cleaning treatment yet.but im due back in the country in a week so time to give the girl a good struce up.
what im after lads is abit of advice ive alway polished my cars and kept on top of them but im looking at going for a good high quality finish on the m3.the paints in good condiction but its abit rough.is it looking like im going to have to clay the car first.
i think its easy if i just put some questions down save me waffling.
what clay kit would you reccomend.
ive never used clay before whats it like and is there anything to worry about.
how long would it take to clay.
what would you use after product wise.ie poishes waxes ect.
also is it worth investing in a polisher ive always done my cars by hand.
last question car you recomend a good product for black leather.
cheers.

Bilt Hamber auto clay is pretty mild and just needs water as a lubricant. Sonus make decent clays too but these need a dedicated lube.

Spend money on a decent shampoo and buckets with grit guards and a mitt.

Get some decent drying towels

Waxes....tough choice. What do you want long life protection, ie Collinite or depth of wetness?

Spend some time on detailingworld to see what's what and where to buy the products from.
