Aston drive/hire

A friend of a friend has her partners birthday coming up and has 2 ideas for a present.

First is to hire an Aston for the day which is about £500. He does like Astons and it's most likely that he has driven one before both on a trackday and on the road. This would be the whole present and nothing more.

Second is to hire an Aston for an hour with a driver and they get bubbly in the back and then get dropped off at a restaurant for a meal later. This would mean the budget would stretch to other presents too.

So which would you prefer?
