North Hampshire Run - Sunday 8th August 2010
Discussion
Hi All,
I invite any interested parties to join me on a drive out Sunday 8th August 2010.
Departing from the car park by the Tesco petrol station at The Meadows, Camberley, Surrey (just off the A30).
The 90mile route will take us on some of the best driving roads in North Hampshire with a nice mix of A and B roads, country lanes and a short stint on a motorway before arriving at our destination, Fleet Services on the M3, for breakfast and an opportunity to check out each others cars.
Arrive as close to 7.00am as possible as we plan to be leaving at 7.15am
The plan is to make good progress appropriate to road conditions and safety so would suit drivers of that mindset
Meeting here:
TESCO PETROL STATION
THE MEADOWS
SANDHURST
CAMBERLEY
GU47 0FD
Ending here for breakfast:
SERVICE AREA J4A/5
M3 FLEET
HAMSPHIRE
GU51 1AA

Currently a splitscreen vw camper lol but thats sold as of this weekend, so I'll either be in the cheapest golf gti I can find in the next week or so or i'll hitch a lift with Lukas. Unfotunatly nothing too interesting on the cards yet as have a few things to pay off first.

Have you seen this

This prob why theres not much interest in your run as everyone else is going for the run out and BBQ.

I am aware of the BBQ, this time of year there will inevitably be clashes - Due to work I am not free every weekend so have to pick a day I am off and hope to get enough interest.http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0... PH Summer BBQ

My wife and I are more into driving
than parking and looking, hopefully there are others like us on here who will favour a fun run over a BBQ
There is also the option of doing both as has been pointed out: Run in the morning BBQ later in the day - For some that could be the perfect day! The run will go ahead even with just a handful of us - The feedack on here will hopefully make it more appealing next time for others

I thought I would have had a better response than this....
Where are those folk who enjoy driving on great roads just for the pleasure of driving/enjoying their cars?
The run will go ahead despite the low numbers.
I know people don't know me on here and that may be partly the problem, never-the-less for those who do attend I can promise you some truly brilliant roads.
Hopefully feedback on here will encourage more out to play the next time
It's still not too late to add your name to the list
