Any ideas on what this is?

[Bollah]

Any one want to take a guess at what butterfly this is? Just flown in and sitting on the wall above the light at the moment, a quick google hasn't revealed any results.

[XG332]

A green moth?

[Famous Graham]

Moth rather than butterfly.

Can't quite tell from those three pics, can you take another one exactly the same?

[racing green]

Its a moth called a Scarce Silver Lines, found mainly on Oaks and deciduous woodland. Fairly common in England.

[Tunku]

It is a Gren Meuth.

[Flintstone]

Gren de Momff.

[JustNeil]

It's not ripe yet, stick it out in the sun for a bit.

And use more background, as it is lacking in background. Another fkin' acre of bland useless background would help.
