1 August: ‘Performance Car Legends ­– post-1970 driver’s cars, including track day favourites’

After the last breakfast club (which was one of the most popular on record) it's likely that numbers will still be high so we're planning to leave early again, say around 7am

Our Goodwood breakfast club runs are always popular and for good reason. A mix of cars, a great drive down to Goodwood and some spectacular machinery at the end of it. Last time there were almost 200 cars on the run which meant it was a good thing we left early as the bulk of us managed to miss the majority of the traffic on the way in

The normal rules apply, it's not a race or time trial just a leisurely drive down to the event in the company of other petrolheads.
So meeting at Guildford Catherdral (GU2 7UP) at 6.45am and leaving at 7-7.15am for a fun twisty route through the countryside.

Anyone is welcome to join us as long as they're comfortable driving in a convoy with the usual proviso that we all drive with respect to both the rest of the group and other road users.

As said above this is not a race or time trial just a leisurely convoy to the event, we wont tolerate antisocial driving - any drivers displaying evidence of this will be asked to leave the group. No one has to follow the same route as us and all are welcome to travel at their own pace.

Was a bit naff getting sorted into "supercars" and "plebs" last time we went down to Supercar Sunday, as you lost track of the people you had been following on the drive down - and a good chat about the route down is one of the most entertaining bits.

Well the meeting is "performance car legends" so I don't think we would be split up that much if we are split as they will probably concentrate on more of the hyper cars and really fast stuff, no offence to any of the guys cars here.
