Gear knob replacement

Hi,

I want to replace the small round type retrofitted gear knob for something a bit easier to grip. My wife finds it a bit difficult to lift and shift into reverse. Finding a replacement is proving tougher than expected. Anyone have a suggestion? The original SD1 knob is, shall we say, a bit old fashioned!

I use one of the nylon ones from Quaife engineering like they fit to their competition box's, works great for me.

I got a simple leather one from halfrauds a few years ago, about £10 I think. The funny bit was when I went in ans asked for one he originally showed me all these fancy alloy ones for about £50. I said to him that I wanted a leather one at which point he rocked back on his heels and said "ah, old school", with a knowing glint in his eye! I am still none the wiser.
