Is it common at all to find someone who is a plasterer but can also do plumbing? i.e to a more basic level so they can disconnect stuff and move it out the way before they plaster?

Or will I have to get 2 people in? I quite fancy having a tap moved slightly which may push it into the realms of mroe advanced plumbing.

Anyoen know anyone in the South?

It depends how much you want doing of each job. All the plumbers I've ever used have been quite capable of making good any walls they damage - I believe there's courses they can do to learn basic building/plastering/electrical skills.

Where abouts in the south are you?

Most plumbers can make good after themselves.

Jobs in Southampton

although its a plastering job with a bit of plumbing as opposed to mainly a plumbing job.

i got a quote last time but the guy said he would have to send a plumber in first to disconnect then a plasterer and then another plumber to reconnect - which got expensive!

What is it that needs the plumber to disconnect? Can it not be done by yourself/friend/family/stranger before the plasterer comes in? Other than a boiler, most things can be isolated and moved.
