i'm sure i've read somewhere that they produced about 1500 mk1 and obviously a lot less mk2s but seeing as they seem to have a habit of being destroyed, how many do you think are left on the road?

This has got me thinking also generally about tvr, i used to see them on a pretty regular basis but they seem much rarer these days, on average i guess i see another tuscan on the roads every 3 months

I know this may well be the double whammy of less cars alive along with those that are tend to be more treasured and so are driven less, more weekend toys rather then used every day

has anyone else noticed this drop off?

Don't have a clue about figures, but you only have to see the websites of douglas valley and bell hill (breakers) to see that loads are being destoyed all the time.

I guess one of the problems, as with a lot of other marques, is that the cars are worth more as parts than they are complete. Therefore, insurance companies will easily write off a TVR even though the damage may be minimal.

Not sure how accurate this old list is as I have heard contradictory information but its better than nothing.
Yep cars are being lost. Lost my Mk1 Tuscan last year but as far as seeing them on the road, I hardly ever see any TVR's ever.
