As has been said on the red button, team orders never went away after 2002. Ferrari were bloody stupid in making it so blatent and I really wouldn't want to be either of their drivers for all the flack and questions that'll be thrown at them.
On the red button just now 'Ferrari bosses have been called in to see the stewards/FIA'
If Ferrari admit it was team orders then they know they'll suffer the rath of the stewards/FIA, therefore they won't. It *can* be argued that Massa made the descision off his own bat. We all know that team orders happen at every race.
Edit to say that I voted for 'no penalty', but not because of the FIA/Ferrari thing as I truly believe that, this year at least, Ferrari have been hit pretty hard by the stewards. I voted for 'no penalty' because they'd have to penalise a hell of a lot of other people.

I have to go to work now, I hope to find Alonso disqualified by the time I go on line this eve.
Quite apart from breaking the rules, it was particularly heartless of them to do the dirty on Masa on the 1st anniversary of his accident in Hungary.
Disqualify Alonso I say, anyway, it will give him the excuse to participate in his favourite sport, throwing tantrums.

Ferrari will have won, but the sport will have lost for a fine does not change people's view that justice will not have been done.
I think the FIA were hoping to get away with turning a blind eye to this. The press response has meant they've had not choice but to be seen to investigate.
Not sure how they'll be able to extract themselves without giving some form of penalty now.
Top marks to Ferrari, and Rob Smedley in particular, for the nice spin they've put on their words though.
My prediction is a fine for the team and some sharp words about anyone doing it again. Finish and points to remain.

But the crowd's boos in these situations always say the most over an FIA penalty and that should be shame enough for the teams.
