Pogo Alert Not Powering Up

I have a problem with my Pogo not firing up when I start the car. The problem is intermitent - sometimes it powers up sometimes not in which case I ether re start the car or slide the Pogo off and back onto it's cradle.

I complained to Pogo and they said must be a faulty earth. I had that looked at but no problem there. Complained again and they sent me a new Pogo - but after a few weeks I have the same problem.

Any ideas?

mine also does this sometimes.

instead of sliding it off just press the middle button on the top to switch it on.

Tried that but it remains very dead until I either re start the engine or slide it on and back onto it's mount. Thanks anyway.

if the unit is under the 2 years old, call pogo on 0203 010 1000 and they should send you a replacement....

I bought Alert plus which showed the above problems before the screen went fuzzy and the unit stopped working - sent it back to origins who kept it for 2 1/2 months (waiting for replacement stock) then sent the old one back telling me it was fixed!!!! still have same problems. If you're thinking about one of these - DONT BUY ONE !!!!

I would love to recommend the pogo range as i am and was a big fan of them. There service used to be second to none however over the recent years they have become somewhat sloppy.

The devices are however quite good. The speed cam side of things is excellent.

Thanks for the help. PoGo have also not been very good at keeping up to date with speed limit changes. One road in Cambridge had it's limit reduced 2years ago which they should have noticed!

I am changing my car soon so will move on from pogo.
