Looking for a Mini Cooper - what to watch

So, looking for a cooper at around the £6k mark and no more that 70k on the clock.

Are there any threads on what to watch out for?

It is harder than I expected to find a car without strips and tints in that budget!

Full sercise history. Clonk when steering. Loss of power stering. Hard to select revers/first. Full kit for the wheel (pump jack etc), Oil level, water level, Odd tyre wear. Air con working ok. Electic windows moving ok, Switch panel (with the electric window switches) not moving. No warning lights coming on (air bag tyers). And for about £20 (look for offers) do an HPI check.
