As a member of The Under 17 Car Club, I have been asked by the organisers of this event today at Castle Coombe to convey there appreciation to all those from PH who kindly supplied their cars time and fuel to this worth while charity The Teenage Cancer Trust.

Hello All,

A huge thank you to all Guest Drivers – I am still unsure which off the Lamborghini, Fiat 500 or Series 2A Landrover was busiest – but all three seemed to be constantly on the move – along with nearly everything else!

For those of you not there when the announcement was made, a tremendous total of £3585 was raised – beating last year by nearly £200 and giving us a major challenge to address for 2011……

I realise in sending this that it will not get to everybody who brought a car today – so please pass it on to anyone else involved.

Thank you once again on behalf of the Club Members, the Committee and, most particularly, the Teenage Cancer Trust for your generous support – we look forward to welcoming you all again next year!

Regards

John Beckford and Paul Mason

I didn't know anything about this David, but if you need a TVR next year and I can make it let me know.

Hi David

Certainly was a great day - I saw a PH logo on the back of the white Mustang, but didn't realise the Volvo was you - that's a very impressive machine. I spent a lot more time on track than I'd anticipated, or I'd have asked for a ride!

Thanks, I attended with a few others from the TV&S forum. We had a great day and came away slightly sunburned! Noticed the smiley on your T5.
I was in the A8, Robatron in the green Chim, Chevy-Stu in the Camaro, John R in the GTR, Swerni in the Mustang, D14 AYS in the Sagaris and Paul in his XBow, and Stig in the Lambo smile

Great to see so many very nice cars there, and owners so keen to donate their time and money for such a good cause. I felt a little out on a limb seeing you guys with your expensive metal and me in my lonely Volvo. I half expected to be left in the Paddock all day, but to my surprise The Volvo was quite a popular ride, I think the word got round that I had been pulled by the marshal's on a couple of occasions for so called spirited driving. Shame we didn't all get to chat, hope to make up for that at the next Pub Club, do say hello!
