Your best result on football manager?

On FM 2009 my current game runs at getting Leeds promoted 2 seasons on the trot and keeping them in the prem, Lazio then came calling and I've got a champions league win as well as a couple of cups, no serie a title yet though which is a bit dissapointed.
My biggest success came on CM 01/02 turning Birmingham into an all conquering force, won the lot for a few seasons, I loved that game.

Well done, at least you'll be able to console yourself with that when the Braga boys do the business

Premier League and Champions League double in 11 seasons and no cheating.With Luton Town....
And that took some doing. Man City nabbed a regenerated 6 foot 6 striker with almost perfect stats who was league top scorer every season and who won them the league 5 seasons in a row before that.

We did have a sega megadrive though and Fifa International Soccer which was probably the next best thing. I think 97/98 started it off for me, but as I still play CM 01/02 with updated patches I could probably join in with some outlandish results.
For instance, with Liverpool i've won the EPL 6 years in a row, the CL 3 years in a row and have also bagged the Super Cup, FA Cup, League Cup, Charity Shield and World Club Championship the last 2 years on the trot.

In the current FM my Spurs team have won the league 4 years on the trot. 1st season was a struggle and only won because I was playing Chelsea who I was ties with at the top. They had a better goal difference and I didn't really fancy my chances but they had 2 players sent off and Robbie Keane scored the only goal in the 87th minute. I must admit I cheered like a child when that happended !
After that it was plain sailing really , bigger stadium and signed Dzeko and Adler , Dzeko has been the PL leading goalscorer for 3 seasons and scored 5 in one game.
CL is where my team fall over , been knocked out by Porto Olympic Lyonnais and other teams that on paper I should beat but that's just football !!
The most frustrating bit has been when Fabregas put in a transfer request and I offered more money in wages and transfer but he went to Man Utd ! :-(

nice I am only into season 9, love the arena too.
I made the mistake of leaving Southend for Italy.
Lazio was a huge mistake, 2 seasons and never finished above 7th.
Now back with fulham, who got relegated to league 1 and got taken over by a consortium. A bit of cash and few cheapies from italy, current leading the league and unbeaten in 15 games.
I keep thinking i should restart and try for a big club or country, but I get such a buzz from bargains and the lower leagues
