Hi all,

Im taking the mrs to london to see a show next sunday, want to make a day of it for our anniversary. I am planning to do the Wheel, a show, and meal after and also we want to have a wander around covent garden and see whats occuring.

Anyone got any suggestions of things that i really shouldnt miss up there? im looking for something maybe a bit different to the usual dungeons or wax works.

Cheers
Lee

Its an early start, but Columbia Road Flower market is interesting.
Opportunities for breakfast and coffee etc too.
Opens from around 07.30 and all finished by 1 ish.
As long as it's dry, you could spend an hour or 2 there.
Great opportunity to buy the Anniversary flowers too!

If it's a nice day you cannot beat just walking. Buckingham Palace, St James Park, down the Mall to Trafalgar Square, then down Whitehall to Westminster Abbey and Palace. Then across the bridge to the Wheel. That will take up a few hours and will cost nothing.

The oxo tower was always coming! smile I had a table booked, got her to check the menu, and knew from there it was best to cancel the table. She wasn't too keen. I think we will be getting there for about 9ish, and the idea of traffic sq, millennium wheel and generally south bank area will work well.

Got a show booked for 5pm she fancies looking round the markets and looking at all the stalls etc. Maybe pop into the aquarium for a look at the swimmers.

No hassle in winging it!
