Pedal cover plate!

Three alen bolts holding it in place, but also two allen bolt and nut combinations - one behind each of the clutch and accelerator pedals. What do I have to do with these two?????

Just turn the nuts to undo and they will screw out just the same. Note how far up the threads the stops are.

So the precise positions aren't critical? The one behind the accelerator has only one stop nut a fair way down.... OK if I just mark with a pen?

I just do it by 'look' and try to note how much the second nut has moved.

I had to take mine out and have not put it back in since. I am over 6 foot and found I can put my left foot down the side and rest it on long journeys.

Crikey it was grubby behind there! Half a field of straw and grass, a locking nut and 4 wing nuts!

Think I'll put mine back in though.

Cross threaded the bloody bolt behind the accelerator pedal so I've had to leave it out. I guess it is just there to stop an over enthusiastic stomp on the gas bending or breaking the pedal.

Be careful, I played with the bolts only to be told by Str8six that I had made a right hash of them. I think the throttle stop is important as it stops the throttle potentially sticking open. On the clutch side if this is wrong it can cause the fingers to snap on the clutch plate.
