Ok, here's the deal. I'm in Bali by myself for the next three days. I've got tomorrow all sussed with a spot of diving but have nothing planned the following day.

I'm looking for something to occupy myself that's not too expensive and within easy reach of Kuta, where I'm staying. Anything goes really!

Over to you folks smile

A tour across the island up to Ubud is interesting.
All the rice terracing, the mountains and then Ubud itself.

ubud

go and see the Barong/baranti dance thing (which is either in ubud or kuta- i can't remember)

Its very very odd, but quite entertaining

The monkey forest is well worth visitng too- the blighters will jump all over you!

Cheers for the suggestions. I've met a couple of people on the beach here who suggested I check out Uluwatu temple which is perched on the cliffs and also has traditional dancing in the evening. They've invited me to join them tomorrow so will probably do that after a spot of surfing in the morning.

Now if I could just get the hang of riding the unbroken waves....

Couldn'y remember the name of it.
Very good photo ops too.
