I am looking at a Shogun, the current reg being UIW 15. It is registered in Northern Ireland.
Now, my car data check can't identify it, neither can my insurance company on their system.
Is this because it is Irish, or should I walk on deeming problems?

Surely if there is any doubt, whatsoever, you walk?

I don't understand how it all works. I know there is a different registration system in Ireland and just want clarification from someone who knows.
If all is good with this car, I would like to buy it.

I just bought a car from NI and I had to have 2 HPI checks, the car had previously been in England but was then taken to NI. We have the DVLA but in NI they have thier own angency the DVA. While having the registration changed from the DVLA to the DVA.. the car shows up as an inport! Maybe it is something along those lines that is causing the confusion!?

the Licensing part is the DVLNI. when you bring a car over from the mainland you have to technically import it to N. Ireland and vise versa on the way back.
