Not on a 1.4 8v K series engine for sure! It'd last a matter of miles before the engine lunched itself.

I can't imagine there'd be enough exhaust gas flow to even begin to spin it up.

I cant be bothered to find the you tube clip but if I remember correctly it did struggle.
