Anyone used ecar car insurance?

Evening all,
This is all very confusing!
Short story...
Me and three mates are going driving around Europe for 2 weeks, we plan to use one of the 'pay per month' policies from ecar to cover us. Assume this would be for one month from 20th Sept.
However I would need to be insured for 2 weeks before we go (this would be outside of the one month which would cover the 4 of us in Europe) as we would be buying the car 2 weeks ahead, say on the 6th Sept.
Can anyone see any issues of these 2 policies overlapping? Oddly enough their pay per month offer is 25% cheaper then insuring myself with them for 14 days!
