Well, after just watching University Challenge and getting about 10 questions right in the whole show I feel like a bit of a thicko.

Have any PH'ers ever been on the programme?

Mods, can this be left in The Lounge please for a greater audience? I don't see it being a lengthy thread to be honest!

Genuinly: I was 1st reserve for University of Portsmouth one year in the late 90s. The entrance test contained a lot of english lit which I didnt get enough right to make it into the first team. They didnt make if through the first round...

Funny thing is, the ex and I were invincible at Trivial Pursuit and pub quizzes. It worked on a level: he knew everything about sport, while I covered off the rest.

We're usually good like that. Mrs Arese knows everything about music and travel, and I pick up what I can.

If we played each other on University Challenge I think it'd be a low-score draw.
