nearly new and need a little help !!

After serious consideration ive come to the conclusion that im going to buy and build my own ultima gtr.

This is going to be a fairly long process for myself as spare time is sparse to say the least !!, I went to the factory and was shown round early last year and left with the mandatory huge grin after being taken for a little spin by Ted.....Now my problem starts with not really having seen many ultima's , when I say that I mean just the silver factory car and a beautiful orange 730 at brands the other week..... and after reading endless threads on this forum regarding specs and engine set ups im a little stumped at the first hurdle

I have never built a kit car and guess I’ll be in at the deep end to start with but that doesn’t really faze me.....id like to build the highest spec I can and because im looking to do this over a long period my budget could be quite high.......

so the question is do a few of you guys ever meet up in the Kent area as I’d love to pick your brains about life with your ultima's and the way they've been set up ?

There are at least 2 GTRs over your way and I'm confident either or both would be happy to meet up with you at some time if you're buying.
Mike is about the oldest GTR owner out there. Not sure if that is the oldest GTR, oldest owner or both.

Yes my GTR is probably one of the oldest out there, but I believe Steve entered this world a few months before me!

Messer, where in Kent are you? Keith (ditto) lives in Edenbridge and I'm just over the border in Surrey. I'm sure a meeting could be arranged somewhere.

Im currently based on the kent/sussex border near rye....would be great if i could try and catch up with you guys , just hope my questions arnt to stupid !!.....trying to make sure i can make the factory open day but not looking to promising
