Well, I made a Lotus badge to replace the Raid badge on the wheel I got through the group buy. This is the first attempt and is held on my double sided tape just like the original. Instead of being rounded it is concave. I will probably try a few more to try and get it looking a bit better. I used inkjet transparency "paper" to make the emblem and used aluminum foil behind it. It can be seen on my website under Esprit and Mods at http://hometown.aol.com/oneshotcop/myhomepage/profile.html
Also, I posted some pict of the Tubi exhaust. I dont have the rear piece installed under the bumper as I need a new one made to accomodate the location of the exhaust exit. I kinda like the look of it as it is and may just leave it like that.

Tech, I dont see the picture of the emblem, only the wheel on your site.

The exhaust looks great! And the black piece missing looks pretty damn good to, it makes the rea look beefier.

So its not as loud as you thought eh? Is it a dissapointment, or can it be lived with? About how much louder than the original?

Got any sound fileS?

It is definatly better than the stock sound. I was expecting more of a "harshness" though. But, after living with it for awhile, I am glad it sounds the way it is. I have had pleanty of loud cars in the past, but that just wouldn't "fit" the image of this car in my opinion. As far as the badge, the pictures on my site of the wheel have the badge in it. If you want a closer pict, shoot me an email.

Im trying something similar with a Lotus Emblem on the Raid wheel. Were you able to 'disassemble' the orginal Raid Logo and reuse the clear covex cover?

No, I didn't reuse the Raid emblem at all. I was going to use it to make a mold and poor in some epoxy to make a similar one, but I really liked the way it turned out with it flat. It has a bit of a concave shape and looks pretty good I think.
