sharing the joy
Discussion
Just driven home from the pub (not drinking but as i dont drink that much anyway it's never a downer) in the Eunos and it got me thinking. It wasn't a long trip, only 15 mins tops and as it's a nice evening i was sans roof but as ever i got home grinning. I bloody love that little car and hooning at night, with the roof down is a real joy.
Now heres the bit i was pondering. Two of my mates i was at the pub with walked home, thay do live closer, but usually if my other mate is driving he gives us lifts. Logisitically with the mazda this isn't possible but tonight i just thought it would have been nice to share the joy with my mates. Soooo, is there anything out there which you can throw about like an MX5, take the lid off. is pennies to run and fits 4/5 people!! I can't think of anything.

^I'd be looking at an E30 cabrio as mentioned [/biased]
Won't be pennies to run though. You'll want the 2.5 which is thirsty. Earlier 'chromies' look better than the later facelift models imo - but these are old cars (mine is 1986) as such can cost (esp when suspension, bushes etc need replacement). Watch for rust and the M20 can overheat if not looked after properly. V windy in the back though - hats required!
Had mine over a year now, survived the snow over winter and I am really enjoying it in the current warm weather, any time of day. Much more fun than the E36 328i I previously had. Preferred the look of the E30 to the E36, much more charm and charisma. Don't see many about.

(M20 B25) Whilst i did love the old girl she wasn't as sure footed as the Mazda...living in MK the rain made the commute to work that little bit more fun
