He claimed a woman in a burka “fell head over heels” in front of his taxi in London’s Piccadilly and revealed her “red G-string and stockings”.

How do I complain about the output of MediaWatch?

I'm quite serious.

Last night Muslim preacher Omar Bakri Mohammed, 52, said: “This shows how much hatred he has for Muslims in general, and Muslim women in particular.

“If he speaks about the honour of Muslim women, it requires Muslim people to respond.

“And if he doesn’t apologise he could face Muslim youth attacking him physically.”
fk off, How does it show hatred, might have guessed the suggested response by a preacher would be violence.

I thought he was making the point that 'underneath', all women are equal.

As usual, the very mention of the 'B' word has the nutters sharpening their swords.

My girlfriend and I were in Selfridges last week.
While their in the womens department of the store, I did notice and pass comment that the place was full of burka wearing muslims buying multiple outfits and not the cheap stuff either.

What someone says and how people choose to take it are two different things.

There are people out there determined to be offended at every opportunity.

I think the OPs understanding of a Gaffe is probably incorrect, surely a gaffe is when you say something you shouldn't for FEAR of upsetting people!

I thought that was always rather the point of the Burka. That muslim men are proud that their women wear all this stuff but don't flaunt it to every wolf-whistling builder on the street. So frankly it shouldn't be a suprise at all - although it does feel it

Yep. Of course, it's the equivalent of having a beautiful car and never letting it out of the garage. Sure, you'd never let your mates drive it, but they can still look.

It's just damn selfish if you ask me. tongue out

Also they've only had a handful of celeb times set so far.. and nobody yet who you'd expect to be *seriously* quick.
