Suprisingly affordable? The suprise for me was to find one in my budget then having a further suprise that I can barely afford to run it after the purchase. 2nd Cerbera later I'm getting quite used to it, and in hindsight it's still the best car I have had and almost certainly will be.
Thats until 25 years time I can pick up a smokey Veyron with shopping trolly dents in the door and no MOT. Lovely!
Where can you get a 4.2 for 10k anyway? :P

Fair enough I'd say - what always get to me is steering people to the very cheapest examples of each car they find online to get a nice sensational headline, then in some cases telling them about the probability of facing huge bills (and keep schtum about it in other cases - I'd only buy that '£1,450' Jag XJR fully expecting to spend a multitude of that in the first year - either to get it up to scratch or, worse, out of necessity...).Killer Rhubarb said:

If you're lucky, you can get a 4.2 for 9.5k! I did 
Just seen Doug Valley have a cat-D cerb for £6000... really worth it? Mind you, I've bought from them before and would recommend going elsewhere.
