As simple as, if you have used them would you use them again. Ideally would like a yes / no here but not possible and may infringe rules! You can rate multiple garages.

If we avoid name and shame please, and as my parents used to say "if you havent anything good to say, dont say anything" that may allow us to keep the thread?

There are only 10 spots so some have been missed, i know Racing Green and Castle arent on for a start, so please rate manually, i will create a tally of their votes down the thread.

I've voted for Sebring but I have to say this Wiki will hardly be a fair representation. Are we to take it that just because a garage gets few or no votes that they are to be avoided? Or are we to more likely assume many happy users of that garage either won't see this thread or don't use PH?

Agreed, its not totally representative, how can it be with the current rules in place?

The simple fact is though, you will get an overview of the repeat business as transacted by fellow PH'ers, if garages dont get voted, so what? does it mean they are worse? No, not necessarily, just means no-one on PH uses them or would re-use them, its down to the individual whether they take any notice of this?!!

Either that or it shows the demographics of where TVR owners live...

In all probability it doesn't, as most places offer a collect & return service.

I've used the now defunct local main dealer, an indie/main dealer/indie in the West country, an indie oop North & now one of the better know names in the South (ish). Only the man dealer was anywhere near me. I never chose on location, I'm sure plenty of knowledgeable owners are the same.

Maybe for some, but TBH geography is last on my check list, Str8 six is 2 hours away, i have also used Automedon in the past, they are 3 hours and an overnight stop away.

I would imagine the majority of owners will repeatedly travel for what they believe to be 'good, reliable, quality' service...

Sorry, should have been a wink smiley on there... I was just being silly.

I used to travel 100 miles to get one of my previous TVRs serviced, and there are some "specialists" almost on my doorstep who I wouldn't touch with someone elses car, let alone mine.

Having recommended people in the past that others have used and not had the same experience, I've personally come to the conclusion that I wont recommend anyone.

I've been using Westover in Poole and would unequivocally vote for them, but you don't have them.....

They have two TVR technicians from their days as an official dealer.

Rob - maybe it would be a good idea to create more than 1 polls, each based on location of the garages.. Just a thought..
