Extra bonnet catch
Discussion
Hi all
Have any of you fitted an extra bonnet catch, that will allow both sides to be anchored? Out driving yesterday in the winds, the bonnet was lifting readily, especially on single lane roads when passed by an on coming bus or truck, or when giving the loud pedal some use on the motorways.

This has never been a problem with mine. I wonder whether it's an alignment issue with your bonnet.
Bob - you're not driving fast enough
I've seen my old one wibble about a little at 'ahem' high speeds. Not had any problems with it lifting, but it would certainly be better with a double catch.
If the bonnet were to come adrift I 'think' that it would slowly raise, a bit like the boot if you don't close it (automatic spoiler). I wouldn't want to test that at high speed though.
