Greenham gets some Art

A piece of art has been unveiled at site of the former US Air Base to celebrate the work of the charitable trust which now owns it.

The Icelandic artist Gudrun Nielsen, who designed the sculpture, said the artwork symbolises the area's history.

"It was the military history which formed the inspiration for the piece," she said.

it really is a bit ste- rusty folder sheets of steel- but the greenham trust is probably doing OK for cash so they might not be that bothered!
