Nurburgring July 23, 24, 25th. Were you there?

We are just back from a weekend at the Nurburgring with the MNR kit car, 3x 350z's and a VX220T.

Anyone else from here over there at the above dates?

I was there in a black 911 GT3 and thus fully able to remain totally unnoticed in something common and inconsequential

This was also in a group of 10 cars, so a great crowd for the bar and restaurant after the driving was done for the day too. Excellent weekend - even despite Fridays weather. Some interesting stuff out there to see too, including the M3 GTS (number 4 I think it was on the dash plate), a carbon DTM CLK and (in the car park at least) an SLS as well as the usual brace of Carrera GTs and so on

On Friday night, the place was like a Porsche car park!

I cant complain about the weather on Saturday and Sunday though. On Sunday, the rain started just as I ran out of laps on my card!- around 6pm.

Hi, I was there in my VW Scirocco with the pug1off lot! Some of my friends were chatting to you guys in the top field car park at one point, I think we had a 106 Rallye and a 205 GTi there at that time! Hope you all had as good time as we did!

Yup, there Fri eve, Sat and Sun. Red E30 M3 and Blue 993. Excellent weekend. Wet lap on friday eve was "interesting......"

I was there all week but I was being paid to drive a lorry and have a week in a hotel. No track time unfortunately but excellent viewing.

I was there with Kriss above in my Megabusa. I thought it was your car Teabagger as we were out there last year with you, I never saw it in the car park though, just whilst spectating. I didn't actually get many laps done but passengered plenty of other cars so it didn't bother me too much, especially as we missed lapping Sunday as we ended up going to watch the Formula 1 race at Hockenheim.

Hi noticed your car, I was two cars behind in the que for the barrier but I was in the 350z at the time.
We never parked in the ring car park as we were staying at the Burgstube hotel so parking there was easy.
Did you have problems with the car?

I was there popping my nurburgring cherry on the sat sharing a rented silver Clio cup from RSR. Loved the track and car park, tho was underwhelmed by the cup and should have brought my elise with me.

I was there with a bunch of friends Friday/Sat/Sun for the 1st time. We turned up in my MX6, a 205 gti on twin 40's, 405 mi16 on twin 40's, Subaru Legacy, 200sx and Ford Probe. Awesome experience, had a huge moment at Pflanzgarten 2 corner which made me do a ploppy pants and flatspotted all 4 tyres

How did you find your MNR at the Ring? Taking my Tiger in August slightly nervous how it will be (especially the ground clearance!)....

Jcas, I'd look out at the carousel, my mates Porsche 944 exhaust bottomed out there on one slab of it that protrudes buddy.
Also the Eurotunnel trains are ok, but beware at where the ramps apex.
