Focus ST170 Stereo Wiring

Hi guy's and gals..
Looking to pick anyones brains that could help with the following...
2002 ST170 Has had an aftermarket headunit and Nokia hands free system installed for the past few years without a clitch, new phone = new hands free... removed the stereo and replaced the hands free, now the head unit won't power up..
After some lengthy testing I have come to the conclusion that the ignition switch wire is at fault as every thing else has power and works, fuses checked and relays all working, does anybody know if/where there could be a hidden fuse that may stop the ignition wire working?
No sound in the car is driving me crazy..
I also removed all aftermarket equipment and reinstalled the OE headunit to test, this powers up but only for an hour as the switch wire is not connecting properly..
