My Inlet manifold has recently started leaking.

You can see the joint where the leak is...

When I took the manifold off there is a crack on each cylinder.

I'll get one of our fabrication subbies to have a look at it at work, but does PH think it'll be OK to get it welded?

ETA: If you look at the bottom of the second pic you can see the other side of the plate, which isn't welded. I think it would be best to get both sides welded up.

Getting it welded has got to be worth a try. How will you get the flange face flat again afterwards, do you have any suitable machinery for that?

You can get any decent ally fabricator to weld it.

To stop it bending you can bolt it to a big lump of steel although I doubt it will distort much.

Getting the mating surface for the head flat is a 5 min job for someone with a milling machine.

If the whole fix costs you more than £40 you've been ripped off!

I can get the faces milled in our machine shop at work, its just the ally welding.

Anyone seen this type of manifold before?? Seems like a poor design, only being welded on one side.
I don't see why it would need flexibility designed in.
