The Pink Pig Run

Three years ago I started the Pin Pig Run, it is a charity event for the children's hospice south west. The idea was to get pink pigs toys sponsored and drive from Bridgewater in Somerset to The Little Bridge House in Barnstaple, we managed to raise just over a thousand pounds for the children's hospice www.chsw.org.uk. The Children's hospice supports hundreds of life-limited children each year an their families we had a great day out lots of cars turned up and we had a great cruise down to the hospice, some of the children and families came out to see the cars and all the kid got pink pigs as a gift and we proudly raised allot of money for them.
Well its time we did it again , I have found pigs and the hospice has a new house, Charlton Farm Wraxhall Bristol, we went up there last week it is a very cool place, with lots of very ill kids and their families The event date Sunday 26th of September, the idea leave Bridgewater area have a nice cruise up arrive at about 11am, we can all do a lap of the hospice and then loop up to a field where we can park, six of the nicest cars will be on display, for the children who can't make it out but hopefully the rest of the families and children can come up to see the rest of the cars, tea and coffee will be provided.
This is such a worthy cause and one that will touch lots of people.
Some of you that came to the Blue Ridge Runners show back in September at B.I.B.I.C will know of the charity and the good that they do. They do not get any money from the government and so came about the pink pig run.
